Ceramic brackets​:

​ Ceramic brackets work the same as rhodium self-ligating brackets, except they are ceramic/sapphire. This combines the advantages of self-ligating brackets with a very fast, effective and almost invisible treatment. Our orthodontist Männedorf Dr. Sam Moosavi uses self-ligating ceramic bracket systems for this purpose, which do not discolour, even if worn for a long time, due to dyes contained in coffee, juices, nicotine or tea, for example. Optionally, we also combine ceramic and rhodium systems. Ceramic brackets are used for the more conspicuous upper jaw, while rhodium brackets are less conspicuous for the lower jaw. This saves costs compared to standard brackets and still optimizes the aesthetics.
