Lingual technique
With the lingual technique (lingual = "tongue-side") misaligned teeth are corrected in our practice with fixed braces, the brackets of which are attached to the inside of the teeth and are therefore almost invisible from the outside. In this way, misalignments are corrected without anyone else noticing.
The desire of many adolescent and adult patients for an invisible orthodontic method can thus be easily fulfilled. This makes the lingual appliance ideal for everyone who wishes that their private or professional environment hardly notices the treatment with braces. As one of the few practices in Switzerland, as a specialist dental practice for orthodontics, we also offer our patients the lingual technique, which is only performed by a few specialized orthodontists.

The lingual technique is associated with greater effort in terms of manufacture in the laboratory, when attaching the brackets and when changing the arches during treatment.
