The positioner is an elastic rubber splint that can be used to correct minor misaligned teeth and to precisely adjust the meshing of the teeth. During the complex production in the dental laboratory, the teeth of the plaster model are individually positioned by the patient in the optimal places. This list is then transferred to a rubber mass and the rubber splint is worked out. In this way, the teeth can easily find their way to the perfect position when the splint is worn at night and a harmonious interaction of muscles and jaw joint can be achieved.
