Invisalign®

In our specialist dental practice for orthodontics, we offer the aligner treatment by Invisalign®, an almost invisible and pleasantly comfortable tooth correction for children, adolescents and adults, in a combination of gentle and gentle forces.

 

   Benefits of Invisalign treatment:

Disadvantages of Invisalign treatment:

However, this method is also not completely free of disadvantages. Since the splints are removable, the success of the therapy depends on the patient's cooperation. At the beginning of the treatment, there may also be slight speech impairments, which will subside after a few days. A few tooth movements cannot be carried out with this technique alone

Invisalign® - The clear alternative to fixed braces.

The Invisalign® system was developed in the USA and has also been used in Germany since 2001. Up until this point in time, there was no alternative to correcting misaligned teeth for adults other than invasive tooth straightening. Invisalign® provided a remedy here. These are thin, transparent splints - the so-called “aligners”. These invisible aligners move your teeth or your child's teeth quickly and accurately to the correct position, aligning them by aligner, thus ensuring gentle tooth alignment. They are almost invisible, do not interfere with speaking and can be removed at any time to ensure that you can eat or brush your teeth. This can significantly reduce the risk of tooth decay during orthodontic treatment. 

Before the actual treatment with the invisible braces from Invisalign® begins, your orthodontist Dr. Moosavi checked. Your orthodontist Dr. Moosavi placed in the correct position before the aligners are released for production. The number of aligners, which you usually change at regular intervals, depends on the difference between the actual condition of your teeth and the desired result. The custom-made individual aligners exert a controlled and evenly distributed pressure on the dental arch, which enables gentle tooth movement. Your misaligned teeth can be corrected painlessly and gently with the help of the almost invisible braces from Invisalign® Männedorf. The Invisalign® aligners are then worn by the patient 22 hours a day in order to be able to successfully treat more complex treatment tasks that can otherwise often only be mastered with fixed braces.

The invisible braces from Invisaglin® differ in their treatment in the following points compared to fixed, external braces:
